Clothing measurement

All you need is a measuring tape!
Ask a friend to measure your body circumference while standing straight and relaxed without shoes. Remember that the measuring tape should not be too tight around your body, but also not too loose.
Avoid bulky clothing
For the most accurate results, measurements should only be taken in underwear or loose-fitting clothing, such as underwear. It is not recommended to measure yourself in jeans, sweaters, or other bulky clothing.
1. Head – Measure the circumference of your head at its widest point, above your eyebrows.
2. Arm length – Bend your elbow slightly, then measure from the center of the back of your neck, over your shoulder to your elbow, and down to your wrist.
3. Chest circumference – Measure just below the armpits, at the widest part of the chest.
4. Waist circumference – Measure the waist at its narrowest point.

Cuts
We are all different, and the outdoor activities we enjoy are also different. That’s why at Fjällräven we have divided our equipment into several fit categories to make it easier for you to choose the most suitable fit and functionality for your adventures.

Next To Skin Fit
Fits close to the body to improve moisture management and thermal efficiency while providing excellent freedom of movement. In this category you will find leggings and underwear.
Slim Fit
Fits close to the body. We use both stretchy fabrics and combinations of stretchy and non-stretchy fabrics to give you the freedom to move comfortably on the trail, even when you’re taking long strides.

Regular Fit
Our standard fit garments are designed to be particularly versatile. This means that they are not tight-fitting, making them ideal for wearing in different seasons and for layering. Regular fit garments follow the contours of the body and allow for freedom of movement. Wear them with a thin base layer for extra warmth.
Relaxed Fit (Comfort Fit)
This cut provides breathability in warm conditions and overall freedom of movement. Our Relaxed Fit clothing can also be easily worn over thicker base layers or pants when it’s even colder outside.
Foot measurement

How to measure your foot size correctly?
You will need: socks, a sheet of paper, a ruler, and a pen.
Important: Measure both feet, as most people have one foot larger than the other. Use the longer of the two measurements when selecting shoe sizes.
1. Place the sheet of paper on the floor, close to a wall.
2. Put on the type of socks you would normally wear with these shoes.
3. Stand on the sheet of paper, standing straight and pressing your heel against the wall.
4. Draw a line where the tip of your longest toe is.
5. Using a ruler, measure the length of your foot on the paper—from your heel to the line you drew at the tip of your longest toe.
6. Repeat the same with your other foot. Use the larger of the two measurements to determine your shoe size!
